Vermont takes delivery of fourth double-hulled tanker

New “ANESUN” ship was put into operation on 31st March, 2010

New “ANESUN” ship of Vermont Marine Bunkering Ltd. was put into operation on 31st March, 2010 which was built by Guangdong Jiangmen Shipyard Co.,Ltd. It adopts international advanced technology standards. Its LOA is 67.30 m, breath is 16.00 m and the gross tonnage is 1903 tons, double bottom and double hull design and is equipped with heating facilities, for ensuring all-weather in Hong Kong waters to provide bunkering services.

To strengthen water environment protection and reducing the risk of major oil pollution incidents, both the International Maritime Organization and the Hong Kong Marine Department have issued a series of regulatory policies, standardized and phased out single hull oil tankers in recent years gradually. After the new “ANESUN” ship joined our fleet, all of our tankers of over 600 tons are complied in line with international conventions and the requirements of the Hong Kong Marine Department for upgrading the ships ahead of schedule.
